Services
Joiner Psychiatry offers evaluation, diagnostics, and treatment of various psychiatric disorders. Treatment may include the prescribing of psychotropic medications but often also includes non-pharmacological interventions, psychotherapy, or referrals.
As a member of Arise Wellness, a conscious and collective decision was made to not accept insurance. This decision was made in part to eliminate restrictions imposed upon the therapeutic relationship and clinical experience by the insurance companies. By not accepting insurance, we can more intently focus on the patient. Upon request, we can provide a superbill and guide you through the process of submitting a claim with your insurance company for out-of-network reimbursement.

New Patient Initial Evaluation
During this initial visit, we will:
Review in detail your psychiatric history. This includes all past diagnoses, inpatient and outpatient treatments, medications trialed and responses, psychiatric history of your family, trauma history, and social history. We will also review your medical and surgical history.
Discuss current symptoms, stressors, supports, coping mechanisms, medications, concerns, and goals. Discuss current medical co-morbidities and non-psychiatric medications.
Establish working psychiatric diagnoses.
Establish a personalized care plan.
Time: 90 minutes
Fee: $315
There are circumstances where this initial evaluation may not need to be as extensive. If you have been formally evaluated by a psychiatric provider within the last 12 months AND have access to that visit note OR if you are seeking care for a single and long-standing diagnosis, this fee may be lower. Please email rjoiner@arisegnv.com if you think this might apply to you.
Follow-up visits

Time: 15 - 45 minutes
Fee: $115 - $175
Please note that if you’re on a controlled substance, you will need to be seen at least every 3 months.
